How do I setup my robot?

Presence 360 is super easy to setup. Check out our setup guide here.

* How do I move the robot?

Once you have a smartphone installed in the robot and it is paired automatically through Bluetooth, you can begin to control it remotely.

First open your Presence app on your primary smartphone or tablet and sign in with the same username and password as your Presence camera. Once a connection has been established, tap anywhere on the screen to center the robot on that spot.

You can tap multiple times on the left or right side to make the robot spin around 360 degrees.

* My phone’s battery is losing charge, what can I do?

Some phones with large screens are quite power hungry. Tap the ‘Dim Screen’ button on your Presence Camera to lower the power consumption and charge your phone properly. Tap anywhere on the screen again to bring your camera view back up.

Also, check the connection of the micro-USB cable that powers your robot to ensure it has a snug fit.

* What does the blue light mean?

Blinking quickly in and out – The robot is looking for a phone to pair with.

Blinking quickly – The robot is pairing or unpairing from a phone.

Breathing slowly in and out – The robot is paired with a phone, and active.

* What does the button on top of the Presence 360 do?

You can ignore the button on top of the Presence 360. It’s used to unpair with a phone, if held for 5 seconds.

* Can I mount Presence 360 to a camera mount?

Yes, Presence 360 is compatible with all standard camera tripods and mounting systems.

* How do I set up Vantage Points?

Vantage points can only be set up while viewing your camera remotely.

From your primary smartphone, tap into view your Presence Camera that is on the Presence 360. Drill into the Options Menu. Tap “Vantage Points”, and then “Add a Vantage Point…”.

Tap on the camera feed to position the camera in the direction you want it to face. Follow the in-app instructions by clicking Next in the top right corner. Give your vantage point a nickname and the amount of time you want it to sit at that vantage point. Finally, click the Back arrow to back out of editing your vantage point.
